Experimental Installation, Fluid Sculpture
A demonstration of the movement of a liquid inside a closed circuit. The installation is inspired by industrial pipe systems and the inner workings of large buildings, contemplating the flows around us that can’t always be seen.
- Created from a series of glass tubes, black ink is circulated through the sculpture and held for a short time in equilibrium. The flow of ink and air through the sculpture is manipulated over time, graphically transforming the opacity and visual impact of the object as a whole.
