Prototype for Conforama, Furniture

             
  1. Transmat is a dresser that came about from evaluating our notions of comfort associated with the bedroom, which are often in contrast with the rigidity of its furniture. The resulting object proposes to demonstrate the versatility of textiles in this context.

  2. The gestural input of the user coexists with rituals of dressing and undressing. Its cotton shelves are stretched across the frame and held in place thanks to a series of notches. The more weight is placed on each shelf, the more inner tension is created - ensuring the strength and stability of the entire structure.
